It means we repurpose, recycle, manufacture, and ship
with the planet in mind.
WE REPURPOSE
We save over 500 million unused baby diapers that did not meet factory requirements. We take these unused diapers and repurpose them into super absorbent wee wee pads for your pooch!
WE REDUCE
Disposable pee pads are made with absorbent materials like fluff pulp made from trees.
We reduce trees cut down by repurposing ½ billion baby diapers, and saving the equivalent of 130 football fields of trees every year.
We also use Eucafluff fibers in our absorbent blend. Eucafluff is made from eucalyptus trees (FSC certified) and have a better renewable cycle than more traditional fluff pulp, saving another 110 football fields of trees every year.
WE RECYCLE
Our plastic bags are recyclable.
Our Earth Friendly line features bioplastic made from sugarcane in both the bag and the liner under the pad. We reduce the need for regular plastic made from fossil fuels. And sugarcane captures CO2 when it grows helping to reduce carbon footprint.
WE REUSE
We reuse the Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) from the diaper repurposing process. We apply it in the absorbent blend for our pee pads instead of buying new SAP.
We also reuse plastic materials from the repurposing process by converting it into plastic pallets and insulation materials.
OUR MANUFACTURING
At WizSmart® we manufacture our pee pads with bioplastic made from sugar cane. The bioplastic replaces fossil fuels making our pee pads the most sustainable in the industry.
OUR SHIPPING
At WizSmart® we not only want to keep shipping cost down for our customers, but we also want to keep emissions and waste down. Which is why we developed packaging that was compact, allowing us to be able to save on emissions and waste with all our bundle and save products!
